One of a kind animal print jewelry, created from a broken beach pottery piece! When I saw this triangular piece of weathered beige coloured chunk of tumbled broken beach pottery, I knew it would lend itself perfectly to being hand painted. A primitive leopard print is what I chose to paint on the curved surface, in copper metal leaf and dark brown acrylic pigment. The natural discoloured mark caused by rust from some metal object that must have leaned against it at some point, and the little visual imperfections on the worn ceramic surface I feel work nicely with the simple animal print pattern I added. Wire wrapping the odd shaped pendant with copper toned fine beading wore, I created a bail and have strung it on round nylon weave cord. Antiqued gold and brass toned metal findings and toggle clasp are on the ends. There is one round brown stained wood bead above the pendant. The painted pendant has been clear coated with non yellowing satin finish coating made specifically for polymers and acrylics.

SIZE: The pendant itself, including the dangling bead, is 3 1/4" long (with bail) and 1" wide. The necklace cord is 8 3/4" long each side so 7 1/2" in diameter (not incl. toggle clasp) which makes it a medium length necklace. It falls over the top of the dividing line of the bust.

CARE: The clear coated painted pendant though durable and long lived, is not totally indestructible, and though accidental wetting is fine, I do not recommend it be worn in pools, hot tubs, or showers, mainly due to the paint, finishes and clear coat, as well as the faux suede and nylon thread cord which would harden and rot with wetting, eventually.

ALWAYS take off and fasten on your necklace with patience and care, do not yank or pull or stretch it aggressively beyond it's natural length, and it will treat you right and reward you by lasting a long time. I recommend a necklace hanger.

Etsy keeps your payment information secure. Etsy shops never receive your credit card information.
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.

My sizes are described as accurate as possible. Questions are always welcome. Lengths of necklaces can be altered upon request, upon purchasing, in most cases.
Polymer clay is not harmed by water, but some of the finishes and clear coats, as well as the metal pieces, can be, over time. It is recommended that cleaning solutions are not used, clay pieces are not worn into hot tubs, pools, and not repeatedly in the shower.
I am happy to gift wrap, or add personal notes, if requested, within reason. Sorry, I will not send anything anonymously from a buyer to their recipient, upon receiving such requests, under any circumstances.
Wholesale is not really a possibility for my pieces, as most are one of a kind, and some of my supplies are antique, upcycled, and limited.
My jewellery and accessories are not recommended for young children.
I ship your purchase tracked and insured. I only charge what it costs me to ship from Canada to your location so that your package is shipped safely to you. It is $16.00+ Canadian minimum, to ship tracked small packages to US addresses. So, as you can work out yourself, my shipping is generally undercharged.
I do not charge extra for handling or packing materials, and I make no profit at all on the shipping I charge.
