I have a total of 51 pieces and will sell all for $95.00 plus shipping. The background color is off white.

The food writer Daniel Rogov claims that the phrase blue plate special originated on Oct. 22, 1892 on a menu of a Fred Harvey Restaurant aboard the Atchison, Topeka and Sante Fe Railroad. It is now an American colloquial expression, which became popular in the 1920's when blue and white dishes were common place.
