This sweet little ring is an example of WWII Trench Art. A Cat’s Eye Operculum, set with four prongs, sits on top of a 3/8” wide band made from a 1943 Australian shilling. The Cat’s Eye Operculum, sometimes called the “Pacific Cat’s Eye Pearl,” is formed as the lid of a turban shell (turbo petholatus). This one measures 12mm (1/2”) by 11mm (7/16”).

The ring is between a SIZE 5 and a SIZE 5 1/4. It is in good vintage condition.

Please see the Shipping and Refunds/Exchanges sections in my Shop Policies.

Please be aware that the 8.25% California state sales tax will be added to price for buyers with California addresses.
