Y O U R J E W E L L E R Y...

Freshwater baroque pearl 'Emba' drop earrings, made by hand in my Brighton based studio. The top pearls are approx 5-6mm and the base pearls are approx 7-8mm. They're wire wrapped using 0.6mm tarnish resistant gold plated wire and connected to gold filled earring hooks.

Pearls have a subtle, calming, feminine energy, given their deep connection to the ocean and the moon. They represent wisdom, protection and luck. The earrings come with a printed gemstone card with this description in the packaging.

Pearls are the beautiful birthstone for June and are also the traditional gift given for a 30th wedding anniversary. The freshwater pearls used in this design are up cycled from preloved jewellery. Up cycling gemstones rather than buying new is a real passion of mine... and not only results in truly unique pieces, but also keeps these preloved gems away from landfill and allows them to be treasured for years to come.

As these earring hooks are gold filled, they are naturally hypoallergenic and long lasting. As with all delicate jewellery, please give them a little polish with a dry cloth every now and then so they retain their shine.
