Description

It's a Swimming Rabbit!

This gorgeous 1950s single-sided plate features a charming black and white illustration of a swimming Marsh Rabbit by National Audubon Society illustrator and artist; Louis Agassiz Fuertes.

This lovely black and white plate measures 5.5" x 7.5." The paper has a soft matte finish sheen, with firm edges and sharp corners and would be simply splendid matted and framed.

Matted, framed and displayed as a gallery grouping, these lovely old natural history prints are simply spectacular. (Please note that the framed examples in the last photo are to show how this might look when it's framed. Your print will come to you unmatted and unframed.)

I'll send your good lookin' swimming bunny to you by way of the USPS packed flat and protected in a rigid mailer.

Surrender Dorothy offers an outstanding collection of frame-worthy antique prints, maps, charts, and illustrations to adorn every room in your happy home. Terrific vintage finds for your workplace too.

Our vintage art inventory moves very quickly and fresh selections are added each day. Please be sure to bookmark our shop and check back to visit us often so you don't miss a thing.

This beautiful & rare pair of Laurel Burch Plum Blossom Cloisonné earrings arrived in mint condition! They were carefully & elegantly wrapped along with a thank you note & packed securely. They were shipped promptly & the transaction was smooth. Laurel Burch was born with a rare bone disease which was very painful. Through the constant pain she was able to support her two children as a single mom with her art work. She kept creating up to the very end & it is a tragedy to have lost her. She learned the art of Cloisonné from China & incorporated it into her magnificent jewelry. I am super delighted with my purchase & highly recommend this Etsy shop! Thank you so much!

Damages In The US Mail.
They happen sometimes.
Although we carefully wrap our vintage breakables in tons of bubblewrap and tons of padding and pack them in sturdy shipping boxes, damages still sometimes happen. *sigh*
Please tell us about damaged goods ASAP. Photograph the damages and send photos to us so that we can work it out with USPS.

Shipping policies

We ship by way of the United States Postal Service only.
Yes, FedEx and UPS are a little bit cheaper, but we find them to be very brutal with our delicates and breakables, so we refuse to play with them.

International Orders
The answer is YES we do ship internationally. Please just ask! There are many shipping destinations on this planet and each one is a slightly different price.

Additional policies

While it is considered customary for many antique and vintage shops to consider offers and dicker prices, our shop simply doesn't.
We've priced our merchandise as fairly as humanly possible. Please don't ask us to haggle.
Thank you.
