I live in Oregon and our lawn at our new home seems to grow and grow and grow. Grass seed is a major crop in this state, but I'm hoping we'll convert some of the lawn into providing more edibles in future.

4 oz /100 grams of hand dyed semi-solid 100% super wash merino wool in a four-ply. ~218 yards. This yarn is wonderfully springy. It's great to put your hands in and squish and is comparable to my favorite kettle dyed yarns.

Although multiple skeins are depicted in the photograph, this listing is for individual skeins. Please purchase enough for your project at one time as each dye lot is unique, although the process is the same.

If there are not enough skeins available, this colorway may be dyed to order.

I dye 7-10 skeins of sweater yarn in a box before setting it in different pans. This results in some variation between pans, but I would still consider them the same dye lot.

All monitors vary. This yarn is ranges in tones from bright to dark green.

From a cat-friendly home. Yarn is stored away from the cats. I occasionally store the yarn with peppermint soap or bags of dried lavender which results in a very very lightly scented yarn.
