This is a small bookmark sized linoprint I made in response to the earthquake/tsunami disaster in Japan. I am donating $5 to the red cross for every bookmark I can sell. The bookmark is standard bookmark size 2 1/4" x 7 1/4" and printed in an indigo blue.

The disaster in Japan really hit home for me. Japan is an important place for me and the source for all the recurring themes in my art. I hope to one day go to Japan and study Moku Hanga printmaking from a real Japanese master. Japan is also home to some very dear friends and making a print seemed like the thing to do.

It is very hard to watch the news right now and my heart goes out to those families who have lost everything.

Note these bookmarks are selling very fast. If it says sold out just come back a little later and I will have posted more.

Edit: Because of everyone's support, together we have been able to donate $370 so far to the Red Cross for Japan Tsunami Relief. Thank you so much.
