This is a lovely Victorian sash pin dating to around the 1890s. It is gold wash over brass in a square buckle shape. It's totally charming! It has 4 pink paste stones set in a square bezel on diagonal corners. It has pretty raised metal flowing embellishments typical of the Victorian period.

This brooch has a hand forged pin stem and C clasp (not a locking safety clasp) and the pin point extends beyond the pin.

It is 2 inches wide and 1.75 inches tall.

Some places the metal underneath shows through the gold wash, and it's gotten a little bent over the years, otherwise it is in very good original condition.
