WPA Era Industrial Landscape Painting

A unique industrial landscape painting by New York artist Harold Yale Silverman. It has a great color and composition with a nice hard-edge, graphic look. The family of the artist told me he studied both at the prestigious Copper Union and Art Students League in Manhattan. This was during the late 30's and early 40's before being drafted into WWII. This painting dates from that period and is painted on an old masonite board. It comes in it's original homemade frame as pictured. This piece will give any interior a real feeing of age and history.

Measurements: 25 1/2" x 19 1/2" framed.

Condition: Fair(+) vintage condition with some surface blemishes consistent with age. There are some areas of paint loss as shown in the photos. Please ask us for more details if needed.

Shipping fee includes careful packing and full insurance within the United States. Please contact us for international shipping rates.
