It was a good challenge for me, and turned out beautifully. I made them for my granddaughters age 5 and 2. I used a solid color for the ornate part and a very subtle pattern yard for the other.

This pattern was so easy to work up and because of how it was written I was able to do a size 3 years for the neck and a size 2 years for the body of the dress. Fits my daughter perfectly.
