The meteorite ring is the original design in my signature series named 'Garbage'. I do not cast this series from a prefabricated mold, or use metal clay in place of traditional metalsmithing techniques. Instead I make each piece from scratch using completely reclaimed sterling silver. No two rings are ever the same!

::::: How are they made? :::::
First I start with a hand milled reclaimed silver sheet. I use my favorite hammer to give the first layer of forged texture. The balls are made from pieces of sterling and fine silver scrap that I melt down into a million different sizes. Next I fuse the balls to the textured surface one by one. When all of the hammering, filing, and torch work are complete, I give the ring a patina to add a bit of flavor. You can choose how dark you would like your patina.
I can accommodate most custom requests when it comes to this design! Want a little gold added here and there? How about a small diamond set into one of the granuels? Just let me know what you are thinking and I'll give you a quote!
::::: The Specs :::::
This listing is for two rings.
The thin band measures 4mm (5/32") wide by 5mm (3/16") in thickness.
The wider band is 9.5mm (3/8") wide by 5mm (3/16") in thickness.
*For the wider ring please order a 1/4 size larger than what you normally wear. The wider the ring, the larger in diameter it needs to be to accommodate for the muscle movement in the finger.
I can make these rings in whole, half, or quarter sizes 4 - 12.5.
If you wear a larger size please contact me for a price quote and custom listing.
This ring can also be made in European sizes!
