This cup was part of a series where they didn't all make it through the kiln:( Now it's a one-of-a-kind! It would be great for juice or wine. Or you could put some small herbs or flowers in it to sit in the window.About 4 inces tall by 3 inches wide at the opening.

I get the unique colors and textures by pressing found objects and handmade stamps into the wet clay. I use random quotes from vintage romance novels for inspiration and sometimes these quotes show up imprinted into the piece. When the clay has set up I paint it with multiple layers of homemade slips and commercial under glazes. Because the color is applied at this early stage it will never fade or chip away. The dry piece is slowly fired in my electric kiln before I apply and wipe away multiple layers of over glaze. The whole thing is then dipped in a clear shiny glaze and fired again to cone 6 making it very durable.

All of my glazes are food safe, dishwasher safe and microwave tolerable. All of my jewelry has been attached to the findings using a high quality epoxy making them easy to clean and strong to wear.

Please enjoy☺
