For all you Landsknechts... A powder flask for your matchlock arquebus. This doughnut shaped powder flask is copied after the 15th-16th century flasks. It is all hand made from Sapele (a mahogany that resembles walnut). It measures just under 4 inches in diameter. It has brass and styrene (to resemble ivory) inlays in a circular geometric pattern that was commonly used in that period. The spout is turned from cowhorn and has a sterling finial at the base. The rest of the fittings are brass. The shoulder strap is satin cord with red and blue tassels. Included is a handmade funnel to fill the flask and an extra spring for the cap lever.
