FRONT SIDE
Generally this is how many letters will fit across (sometimes one less for 7/8", and three to four more for 1 1/4")

>> Pet name: 7 letter maximum for Newsprint, Arcadia, and Deco
9 letter maximum for Austin and Melody fonts
15 letter maximum for Tiny Block font

>> Phone number: Up to 2 phone numbers can fit on the back of the tag. We can also do "microchipped" or a partial address (e.g. 1234 Smith St.).

Since we use metal stamps for the hand stamped tags, the size of the lettering/numbering will remain the same regardless of the size tag you order.

ABOUT THE TAGS
>> We use premium brass and nickel silver tags. All tags are put through a thorough polishing process, which helps buff out any scuffs and rounds the edges. Each tag comes with two 16mm split rings.

Please keep in mind that brass will tarnish over time, as it is exposed to oxygen. It will eventually become more of an antiqued gold. To restore it, you can quickly clean it with a polishing cloth or any brass cleaner.

PUTTING THE TAG ON
>> We recommend putting the split ring on your pet's collar first, and then attaching the tag to it.

Note: Each tag is stamped by hand, so there may be slight variations between tags. We will do our best to always ensure its accuracy in comparison to the listing photos. Because the tags are a raw brass, there may be slight variations in colour between tags.

We originally started with hand stamped tags, where every single character and design element is hammered into the tag (by hand). We have since added engraved tags that are done by a machine. We first do the artwork and your pet's name on a computer, and then it is engraved into the tag. The depth of the hand stamped and engraved tags is very similar, it is just a different method used.

Hand stamped will have slightly more variations between lettering/design, while engraved tags are more consistent in appearance.

By offering engraved tags, it has allowed us to have more design and font options, as well as a shorter processing time for them. Due to the handmade nature of the hand stamped tags, they take a little more time to create.

I'm SO SO SO HAPPY with the way the tag turned out! I was in rush as my puppy was arriving and I didn't want a mainstream tag for my pup. I contacted Laura and she was fantastic. Quick reply, amazing customer service. The packaging was so precious and the tag is so shiny and beautiful. Superb quality. I will definitely order more. This is a great tag! Clear and easy to read, seems high quality and really cute! I really loved that you could add two cell phone numbers. The seller was easy to work with and the tag arrived quickly considering it came from Canada.
