Chocolate Lily

Chocolate Lily is a bulb forming plant and produces glossy leaves. It's blooms are dark purple-brown to almost black pendent bell-shaped flowers. Native to northeastern Asia, including northern Japan, Kamchatka, and eastern Siberia, western North America from Alaska to Oregon. It grows in damp places that are not hot and dry in summer. Great for shaded areas as it prefers growing in a moraine or rock garden.
