VP103 - Poultry Diner

This embroidery pattern is a high-quality digitally-traced copy of a set of two vintage stamped-for-embroidery towels from my personal collection. There are two designs—a rooster in a checkered apron and chef's hat serving a bowl of salad greens, and a chicken in a floral apron carrying a coffeepot on the tip of one wing and a tray of cups on the other. Cute retro designs! The color photo is a closeup of one of the designs that I embroidered for use on a pillow.

Originally designed for towels, they would also make cute pillows or framed pictures for a chicken themed kitchen.

Once your payment has been processed you'll be able to download two pdf files—one containing a cover sheet and the two patterns, the other a basic guide to embroidery stitches which you can also find on my website at http://www.primrosedesign.com/gallery/image/embroidery-stitch-guide). Print the patterns out on 8.5 x 11 paper, then trace the designs or transfer them to your fabric using the method of your choice. You must have Adobe Acrobat to be able to open and print the files, but this is available for free from Adobe if you don't already have it on your computer.

If you need more help with embroidery stitches be sure to check out the Stitch School embroidery posts on my blog http://stitchschool.blogspot.com. You'll find detailed instuctions and step-by-step photographs for about thirty different stitches.
