You will feel very grounded wearing this and it's SUCH a conversation piece.
These stones are NOT drilled, not polished. Each one is a unique beach find from the Western shore of one of the largest fresh water lakes in the world, Lake Winnipeg, the great Canadian Prairie Ocean. Some of them are crinoids, disc-shaped segments of long stems of fossilized "Lilies of the Sea". Some are known as gastropods. When you find them, the small disc can be surrounded by a larger mass of fossilized rock.
One has to be lucky to find these stones. The trick is to look for the hole, not the rock. Apparently they are especially lucky when given to someone.
Stones with holes are reported to have extremely powerful magical properties, the most important of which is protection. Rocks that have natural holes have always been considered magical and sacred, with special healing properties, windows into the soul and doorways to to other dimensions.
The necklace features 4 primitive fossil stones, three light grey and one brownish crinoid, with natural holes and a tiny glass blush-coloured bead, length 20" on copper-coloured flexible wire with a lobster claw clasp. Largest fossil is 1 1/4" diameter.
You get the very necklace pictured here.
