It seems like ages ago that I banded migratory songbirds on Lucky Peak in Idaho for 2.5 months. The Mountain chickadee is a constant presence in the coniferous forests there. They are curious and talkative, and - according to bird banders in the know - not quite as vicious as their Black-capped cousins.

This original hand-pulled print is 3" x 3", on 4" x 5" Japanese kozo-shi paper. Each piece is signed and dated by the artist.
