Marbled paper by American artists Finely and Finley, Missouri. Marbled in rich blue (ultramarine plus cobalt) yellow ocher and mars red (red oxide) in a traditional late 18th century pattern called "Spanish" which was used in bookbinding. Spanish pattern has diagonal shaded lines produced by making waves in the marbling bath. Over the shaded lines is a rich pattern of colored veins.

Paper measures 8.5 x 11 inches.

Designed to be used for book coverings, endpapers and embellishments for stationery. Could also be used for journaling and scrap books, collage and mixed media arts.

Paper ships flat, protected by rigid cardboard.
