Absolutely love these trees! I ordered more of the elastics they used to help hold the garlands in place. They look great during the day. I am still figuring out lighting - I think my fairy lights were too cool.

We really love our tree. It was very easy to set up and it looks really neat. It’s a little shaky. Might decide to invest in a round base in the years to come. So far the cats have been curios but haven’t tried to climb it or but the wood. So it’s worked really well for us.

We really like this 6ft tree--it is a great solution for artificial trees without having to buy one made of plastic + lead. I bought a plastic whiskey barrel planter, turned it upside down, and placed the wedding cake tree base on top of it--fit perfectly in the recessed area of the planter base and added a foot of space below tree for presents (see pics). It also added nice height to top of tree (tree is a little over 7 ft tall now). I used the rubber bands provided between the branches to restrict branch rotations. Discovered I need to push branches together with a little extra force to compress the rubber bands (to minimize the space the bands occupy) to create enough room for adding most of the branches to the rod. Also determined tree looks best without a string of lights because wire is too visible.
