Summer's take on life is so often right on point! And humorous! I enjoy Summer's work so much, and am looking forward to what she produces next!

The collected comics in Paper Pencil Life #6 inspire me to adopt a sense of wonder which is a major theme in this lovely book. Summer's signature style is captivating with her use of black behind reversed story lettering as well as her calligraphic/typographic use of titles and borders. I loved her diaries and her drawings of vintage photos. Her homage to Lulu is so fun and her mini-bio comic of Sylvia Plath is quite touching. Brilliant comic all around.

Poetic, hypnotic. Section on Sylvia Plath's Letters worth the price alone. Can't wait for #7.
