Provenance:

Mined in sunny Arizona, this luscious granny smith apple green with a natural vug running through is a Lovely stone. The mine where this was collected has a history of furnishing fabulous mineral specimens to the trade, but the cutting material from this mine is nowhere to be found on the market today. We really love cutting this zinc carbonate. This stone was named after John Smithson the benefactor of the Smithsonian Institute.

Metaphysical:

Smithsonite is believed to be a stone of charm, kindness and positive happenings. It is said to be auspicious for new beginnings.
