Regal wedding gown perfect for a spring or summer wedding. This ballgown style bridal gown is short sleeved, with a layer of tulle underneath. It zips up the back with a bow at the waistline. Ivory buttons decorate the zipper covering.

On the cut work neckline is appliqued lace that also goes down in strips from the waist. The gentle train of the dress trails about 24" from the bottom. The dress is chiffon layered over satin, fabricated as one layer.

This is a beautiful and classic dress, but it is not without problems. There are two small mended holes in the chiffon, each about half the size of a dime. If you super size the picture of the bodice, you can see them. I hand washed this dress and was able to lighten the few yellow/orange spots, of which there are about three. My best guess is that a good dry cleaner might be able to remove what I began, especially since I was able to lighten the spots.

The design of this dress leads me to believe it is from the 1960s. It has a metal zipper, simple sleeves and the fabric is solid. It would fit well in a decade of minimalism, mod clothing and a style that was on the verge of turning into a natural look.

Other than that, this dress is in solid condition, with strong fabric, strong enough to alter, if necessary.
