This is a lovely sash, which may be worn around the neck, as an elegant and sumptuous accessory, or as a stylish hairband!
It features a dainty scallop pattern, on sides and one end, and a lovely bell pattern on the other! The finished product is about 32" long, by about 2 1/2" wide, in the center.

To make this scarf, you will need:
(3) Size 4 Needles, preferably not bamboo, as it tends to snag silk yarn (extra is for doing 3-needle bind-off)
1 Skein, 50 gms., of 70% viscose, 30% silk yarn, in apricot, or other similar fingering weight yarn (Gauge 7 stitches per inch on size 4 needle)
1 Needle, for weaving in ends and sewing on buttons
(4) 7/16" Vintage Buttons

Skills Needed: 3-Needle Bind-Off, YO, SSK, K2TOG, KRL. (Sites showing these skills are given.)
This is an intermediate project, with a few fun challenges, for those looking for something a little interesting, but not too difficult! I will also be offering a kit, with the yarn shown (which has been discontinued, but I have a small stash!). Here is a view of this item, knit in a fine, wool-silk blend:
