Hot air balloons & Faberge eggs, what could be more fabulous? Very Renaissance glam, these mugs sport a thick embossed ribbon of gold on the rims, so bright they’re almost gaudy ~ the main designs, a brightly colored image in reds, blues, aqua, and purple, of hot air balloons or a Faberge egg on a ribbon, are also accented in gold.

Made in Sri Lanka by Royal Gallery for the Federated Department stores in 1991, this series is called ‘Gold Buffet,’ and still wears its original retail price tags of $16.50 each, giving it an MSRP of $66.

Mugs measure 3 5/8 inches high [9.2cm] and 2.75 inches wide [7cm].
