The famous Mahasiddha, Padmasambhava, on his journey from India to Tibet , ran into a number of terrifying demons that plagued the land. One of them was Rahu, who would swallow the sun or the moon and create eclipses and bring misfortune upon the land. but Padmasambhava was a crafty and gifted enigmatic magician: he tamed Rahula by first getting him to tell him his name, taking his power from him, and bound him to the ways of Buddhism. Like convincing a mafia Don to work on a sting operation for the FBI, Rahula became a thug for the good guys, and so now, still with his terrifying eyes and gaping mouth, he protects and defends the dharma.

★ A WORD ABOUT GORGEOUS GICLEE TECHNOLOGY: The giclee prints I sell of my originals look and feel like paintings and don't loose definition as they are enlarged to the sizes for each piece that I offer. Artwork is scanned via what looks like a really big "camera"/computer and then printed with a sophisticated inkjet printer, which is 5+ feet wide, onto artists' archival heavyweight watercolor paper. It takes about 15 minutes to print a 24"x36". This makes the most crisp accurate print available in fine art printing technology. People often mistake the prints for actual paintings.

The print sizes listed under "Options" are not standard framing sizes. I don't paint on standardized sized canvases, so each artwork is APPROXIMATELY the measurements listed. This is true for all prints except the $20 5"x 7" prints - (they ARE 5x7") and a few of the prints that are available only in one small size, like 3x4", or 6x6".

When a buyer's purchase is held at their post office rather than being delivered to their address, it is the buyer's responsibility to contact the post office and arrange for pick-up of the item. You can find your tracking number for your item by looking at your "Purchases" page on Etsy, but if you have difficulty with that please contact me.
All VAT and customs issues are taken care of through Etsy.com for foreign orders when a buyer purchases from me.
