Batik is dyeing technique that uses wax as a resist. Any place the wax soaks through will not take the dye, leaving the original color of the fabric (usually white) behind. What's my favorite part of batik? The veins of color in the design left by cracks in the wax.

Every shirt is washed before it is sold to you. Wash your shirt on cold so that it doesn't bleed. Tumble dry so you can wear it again!

BABIES: Carter's bodysuits run true to size.

KIDS: I use Rabbit Skins brand shirts for sizes 18m, 2T, 3T, and 4/5. They run small. Be sure to read sizing notes in each listing.

YOUTH: The Gildan brand youth shirts (sizes 6 to 12) run true to size, though I do recommend you order a size up in the long-sleeve shirts because of the sleeves.

ADULTS: The Gildan unisex adult shirts and ladies shirts run true to size. The ladies shirts are not fitted, but they are cut narrower than the unisex shirt. The American Apparel adult and ladies shirts run small. I recommend you order a size up for adults and two sizes up for ladies.

DRESSES: The girls dresses run true to size. There are no odd sizes, so order the next size up.
