MATERIAL:
The handmade unique St Anthony green tenner is inspired by St. Anthony of Padua, one of the Catholic Church’s most popular saints. The chaplet consists of thirteen beads in honour of the thirteen favours mentioned in the "Miraculous Responsory" (Si Quaeris). This prayer was composed by St.Bonaventure. It is sung frequently in the Basilica of Saint Anthony in Padua and every Tuesday throughout the world.

Thirteen green Magnesite beads, are paired with a bronze medal of St. Anthony, and a bronze Four Way Cross. The chaplet is strung onto tigers tail wire for strength, durability and drape.

SIZE:
The St Anthony green tenner is approximately 9.5 inches long.

The thirteen green Magnesite beads are 8mm in diameter.

The bronze Four Way Cross is approximately 1.25 inches long. The Saint Benedict Medal is 1 inch long.

STORY:
The St Anthony Medal is a double-sided medal featuring image of St. Anthony holding the baby Jesus on front side and image of Praying hands on reverse. The image of Anthony holding the Divine Infant is a symbol and model for each of us. The image inspires us to go through life clinging to the wonderful mystery of the humble, self-emptying Christ, who accompanies us as a servant of our humanity and of the world’s healing. Saint Anthony is the patron saint of lost things, lost people and lost souls, fishermen, travelers, barrenness, pregnant women, American Indians, poor people, elderly people, animals, and, in the Latin American world, seekers of spouses. A doctor of the Church, St. Anthony is often called the “Evangelical Doctor.” Saint Anthony feast day is 13 June.

In Catholic tradition, a four-way cross combines four devotional images. The top image is that of the sacred heart of Jesus, with Christ pointing to His heart. This is devotion to Christ’s physical heart as the representation of His divine love and compassion for humanity. The lower image is miraculous, depicting the Virgin Mother and these words: “O Mary conceived without sin pray for us who have recourse to thee.” It is also called medal of the Immaculate Conception, originated by St. Catherine Labouré after her vision of the Virgin Mary in 1830. St. Christopher is depicted on the left. He is known by many as the protector of travelers. Some traditions say that he was a man of great strength whose livelihood was carrying people across a raging river – he is said to have carried the child Christ across one day. St. Joseph, the earthly father and guardian of Christ, is shown on the right. He is depicted holding a lily and the child Christ. Known as St. Joseph the Betrothed (also, of Nazareth), he was a descendant of St. David the King. He was advanced in years when called to be the Betrothed and protector of the Virgin. In submitting to the fulfillment of the prophets’ foresayings, and in his obedience to God, he is an example of putting the sacred above his own desires.

Green colors symbolize nature, fertility, hope and bountifulness. The color also signifies growth, life, hope, fidelity, and immortality. Green is a liturgical color used during season of Epiphany, on the Sundays after the Feast of the Holy Trinity.

I'll be more than happy to accommodate requests for custom orders, shape, size, color of beads, or type of stones. Message me regarding a special order for price variation.

Once a design is agreed upon, custom orders take on average from 1 to 6 weeks depending on the quantity of the order, and availability of components. I can give you a better time estimate once you contact me to initiate your order.

Customized Christmas Gift orders must be placed by October 31st. I do not take custom orders during month of November and December.
1. Jewelry should only be put on after washing and applying any makeup, hair spray, gels, lotions or perfume.

2. Protect any jewelry from harsh chemicals, extreme temperatures and sunlight.

3. You should not wear beaded jewelry while doing household, outdoor chores or sports.

4. You should never wear any jewelry when swimming or showering. The chlorine can cause damage to various gemstones and metals.

5. Store your jewelry separately so it doesn't scratch other jewelry. Plastic bags or cloth dust bags are wonderful for protecting jewelry pieces.

6. Always store your beaded necklaces or bracelets flat.

7. Keep your jewelry in a clean, and dry place.
Unfortunately I don’t repair old beaded jewelry or rosaries that was not purchased from Ooh-la-la Beadtique. Many handmade jewelry pieces are often constructed from one-of-a-kind components, leaving them impossible to find again. However I do offer a Redesign Service. If customers have broken or unattractive beaded jewelry in their jewelry boxes and want it redesigned I will be happy to do so charging for my time and materials. This service results in new piece of jewelry or rosary at a fraction of cost of a new retail piece. Feel free to contact me for more details.
Repair services on products purchased from Ooh-la-la Beadtique are available. For further information please refer to my next FAQ
If your item has minor damage due to wear, or an accident within three years from purchase, please contact me, and more often than not I will be able to provide you with repairs with no labour costs.

You will only need to pay for postage and possible materials costs.

Note that items which have major damage, particularly to the 'focus' of the piece (eg. a pendant being badly scratched or dented), may not be able to be repaired and you would instead need to consider replacing the item.

Contact me with your issues, and I’ll be more than happy to give you an idea of what will be needed to repair your item.
