This lovely vintage retro style diamond wedding set is a great find. It features a fiery center stone that is a round brilliant/transitional cut diamond. It's booming with fire, measuring 4.44 x 4.36 x 2.95 mm and weighing approximately 0.39 carats. It's graded G-H color, SI2 clarity. There are a few tiny cavities in the center stone we only noticed under 10x magnification (one in the table, one near the girdle). They don't affect the look of the ring at all; the stone shows eye clean and is stunning. Seven round brilliant cuts are fiery accents with nice color and clarity, very pretty stones. They weigh approximately 0.21 carats combined giving the ring an approximate total weight of 0.60 carats. The ring is stamped Granat, referring to the manufacturer, Granat Bros. The styling is superb, with a crisp and unique profile. The square top measures 5.66 x 5.21 mm, the face 5.66 x 13 mm, and elevation is 6.4 mm. The thinnest point is 1mm, on the bottom of the shank. It appears that the ring has been sized up in its past yet can easily be sized down by a good jeweler. The ring weighs 5.5 grams of bright 18K white gold and is fitted for a size 9.25 finger (sizable).
