Height: 9 Inches; Width: 12 Inches

An early painting on my month long trip in Japan in summer 2018. Near my hosts' home in Nishi-Eifuku, Tokyo, was this sprawling Shinto shrine that I had to capture. I did my best until my legs got eaten by mosquitoes.

I used watercolor, ink, gel pen, and some water soluble pencil and marker.

This painting is around 12x9" on 150lb hot press handmade Khadi watercolor paper. It is signed on the bottom left.
I recommend keeping it out of direct sunlight as some of the bright colors may fade with lots of sun exposure.
