Item details

plastic, paint, cement

This is a custom built 72nd scale model of the famous Canadian Churchill Mk III Tanks that participated in the disastrous raid at the French coastal town of Dieppe on August 19th 1942. Like all fighting vehicles that landed on the beach, "Calgary" was abandoned when the raid withdrew.

The model features the extended exhausts used to wade ashore.

This model was air-brushed.

Dimensions: 4" x 2" x 2"

The vehicle has been painted in typical British army green which due to shortages of pigments at the time came out as brown.

Please note that this is not a toy, It is a display item only.

If you are not a resident of the USA or Canada please contact us for shipping details.

For shipping reasons the Churchill will require some minor assembly upon receipt. The turret needs to be place on the hull and the vertical wading exhaust need to be re-attached. The latter will require a small amount of gel type superglue
