I love this map because it's of such a different area than our other vintage wall maps! This map was published in 1961 as part of the Phillips' Series of Comparative Wall Atlases. It highlights India, Pakistan, Ceylon & Burma, "Political & Communications." This map has really great, unique, bright pastel colors in it.

It includes railroad lines, caravan & shipping routes, airports and navigable rivers. My favorite thing about this map is that it shows the Hindu, Buddhist, Jain & other "Sacred Places." It also shows "Sacred Rivers."

The map measures 47 inches wide(including the wooden bars) by 37 inches tall. It's in very good condition, with only minor paper loss & tearing. As you can see in the pictures, there is also some slight rippling in the sides of the map.
