Fake Designer Jewelry Alert!

Pieces signed Husár D, Taboo, Lillian, Bijou are NOT vintage,
these are not traditional old Czech designer names or marks
as some sellers wrongly claim.
These items are recently made fantasy pieces in vintage look
and offering them as vintage is a deception.

David Husár is a man currently living in Jablonec, Czech Republic,
making new rhinestone creations and selling them as antique
or vintage pieces. He can be found in the Czech Trade Register
at www.info-jablonec.cz/david-husar/index.html
where his work is identified as the “Production and Sale
of Rhinestone and Glass Jewelry. There is also a published
article on this issue:

...why would a true famous artist or a jewelry designer allow
unfinished jewelry to be sold with his name attached to it ... ?

Whether these sellers (i.e.MeAndMoma" based in Texas) are
being ignorant or deceptive is hard to tell. But at present she
has plenty of these so called vintage and signed fakes
up for sale. Don't get cheated!

Much of the jewelry made in Czechoslovakia between
the late 1890’s to late 1930’s is unmarked, but you may
sometimes find a piece marked Czech or Czechoslovakia
or Made in Czechoslovakia. These pieces are all plated.
Soldering was NOT common on the authentic Czech vintage
jewelry in the 1920-50's as this seller in Texas wrongly claim,
it is a misleading information.
