This awesome vintage ring with circa 1960's era styling features eighteen fiery diamonds. The center diamond is a gorgeous round brilliant cut measuring 3.8 mm and weighing approximately 0.20 carats. It's graded I-VS2-SI1, a very fine stone with a fantastic cut. We love the way it's mounted in four tight double prongs. Seventeen fiery single cut diamonds surround it and weigh approximately 0.21 carats combined, giving the piece an approximate total weight of 0.41 carats. We noticed under a 10x magnification loupe one of the single cuts has a very tiny nick, but this doesn't affect the look of the piece at all. The stones are securely set and the diamonds are super bright and lively. The diamond face measures 10.5 x 16 mm, elevation is 4 mm. and the bottom of the shank is 1.7 mm. This ring is fabulous, with swooping curves, nice crosshatching, and lively diamonds. The ring weighs 5.47 grams of freshly polished and plated 14k white gold and the ring is fitted for a size 7.5 finger (sizable).
