Description

Seattle Map

I've been wanting to create a map of the perplexing Seattle neighborhoods for quite some time. You've probably heard of some areas - Capitol Hill, West Seattle, University District for example - but did you know there's a Whittier Heights, Brighton and Maple Leaf? I used a variety of sources for my labeling but relied most heavily on neighborhood maps provided by the City of Seattle, which even they admitted differed from each other!

The geography of this coast city is incredible. Riverways, man made islands, salmon passages, lakes - It's a fascinating place to visit.

This is an archival print on high-quality smooth watercolor paper.

So happy with this purchase! 💕💕 I purchased the coordinating mountains prints. (At home I also have the print of Seattle and Puget Sound. All are lovely.) Elizabeth’s style is engaging, educational, and beautiful. When it’s in your home, people can’t not stop and look at them. But at the same time, the colors she uses are so pleasing that they can coordinate with many home design styles. I purchased my coordinating frames at Michael’s; were not expensive. Tip—for the longer images of the mountain ranges (at least for the size I bought), they need a less-common frame size. Again, I was able to find this at Michael’s, but it took some time to find options.
