These lampwork beads are a simple style. Kind of the 'zen' of lampworking for me, the base bead is yellow glass and then rolled into a mixture of glass bits called frit. Then it is heated until the frit melts into the base glass, and then I repeat that. This frit mix is mainly a mix of violet, pink, and pale green. I then encased the bead with clear glass to magnify and enhance the bits of color.
The beads are simple but oh, the possibilities great. I like to use these in a wire worked bracelet because the size is good, the holes large enough to accommodate even 16 g wire, and they work well with all kinds of little pressed or seed beads. This would look particularly nice with copper wire.

8 beads, kiln annealed and guaranteed for workmanship, they are about 12 to 14 mm.

This set is part of the Fire Divas customer Appreciation Sale!.
