There are some people that make your life rich even if they just glance through it. My Dad, Bozidar, is one of those people who sprinkled good energy, laughter and love in many peoples' lives. Words are not sufficient to describe how he carved my own personality with his attitude and love.

What matters for this series named Bozidarov Orah (orah means walnut in Serbian), is his modesty, perfect organization (I wish I was that well organized), his open mind, and his love toward nature. Interestingly, the two people who taught me very important life skills, to read/write and to use the needle (crochet and knit), themselves didn't practice it. My Nana ( was illiterate herself - she knew all the letters, but was not able to put them together into a word. She taught me each letter and from that point it was easy for me. She was an extraordinary artist with a needle, though, crocheting incredible items; I was always envious of her ability to work with tiny threads and almost invisible thin needle. And still, although she was the one I was around so much, it was my Dad who taught me how to start knitting and crocheting. I still recall that day, the needle and my amazement. I wish I could ask him how did he learn, as he didn't do any crocheting / knitting that I saw. On the other hand, he was a bookworm, but my Nana did the initial work with me on my literacy. Life has a curious sense of humor :-)

That is why this first opus in the series is something that reflects on who I am as a result of Bozidar's influence:

Each work is inspired by a daring to combine things that are elegant and unusual, emphasizing the beauty of each skill combined, respecting the nature, and serving a purpose.

Each item in the series is one of a kind and each is made of true cured walnut wood. Each is protected with wood conditioner.

This particular holder is 5" long, close to 2.5" wide and 1 and 3/4" tall. It has a larger slot for say a cell phone or an mp3 player, four slots for pencils and a medium slot things like a flash drive (or whatever you feel like). Each holder is signed at the bottom.

Holder was designed and made by me, Tanja Sova. Thank you for reading.

With love
