Vintage New York State Tea Towel Linen
Beautiful New York state linen that features the state bird and flower, discovery of Niagara Falls, Statue of Liberty, NYC skyline, West Point Chapel, Sackets Harbor, Watkins Glen, Saratoga Battle Monument, as well as a map of the state that shows the different area's.
"New York was named for the Duke of York. Later James II of England, its nickname , "Empire state", was first used by George Washington in a speech in 1784. The navigator Giovanni da Verrazzano is believed to be the first European in to view New York, in 1524. The State Motto, :Excelsior." Means "Ever Upwards." "
