This is a beautiful French map from 1860 of the oriental part (eastern part) of the Dauphiné, France. The Dauphiné is an area of land that was given to the first male born of each French King. He was then called "le Dauphin", because he owned the area.

Drawn by A. Vuillemin
Engraved by Erhard, 42 Bonaparte Street, Paris

Dimensions: 7"1/2 by 6"7/8

The map is in good condition, the right margin has a few minor stains. This is a REAL map from 1860 (a 150 years old). Margins are complete (even if the photo looks cropped, because of Etsy size limitations. A full scan can be sent to you uppon request). The back is printed with a text in French.

This item will be sent from Paris, France in special packaging to avoid it from being bent or folded.
