Description

The Traveler Hand Made Blank Card

DESIGN NO. 5

A peaceful scene of wandering. I felt the simple pleasure of going on a journey or walking out in the wild, when I drew this etching.
So this image is mainly about the joy of walking and being on a journey, but I also came across this lovely poem by David Ignatow and it seemed to fit.

I want to be buried under the
angel of a tree
Among the cherubim of grass
And the lion of the wind softly
in my ear and the lamb of the rain.

I am gone
Time has happened to me, the minute
hand on the face of the earth.
Earth is a happiness of its own
as running water
as flowing grass
as the flight of birds. - David Ignatow.

• This archival blank hand made card is a reproduction of the original hand painted etching.

• Printed with inks that last 75 years in my studio, just for you!

• Hand mounted on a colorful recycled card stock with story and poem on back.

• To order in quantity, please convo me.

• Original etching is available upon request. Some etchings need to be custom ordered as they are hand painted.

• All images copyright of the artist.
