Your custom home portrait will feature your home as a custom architectural illustration, inspired by mid century design and illustrated with contemporary details.

This listing is for one 5" x 7" OR 8" x 10" OR 9" x 12" OR 11" x 14" custom house portrait, illustrated in colored pencil on 100% cotton, archival quality Bristol paper. Your custom venue portrait will portray the "front" facade of your wedding venue in a unique and charming way.

S T E P 1 // Choose your desired portrait size and purchase this listing

S T E P 2 // Send me a convo via Etsy or email to: alenabergerart [!at] gmail.com and include:
•A straight-on, high-resolution, color photo of the wedding venue.
•Please include additional photos (2-3) so that I may get a good sense of the volume and proportions of the venue.
Any extra photos that help describe any intricate details are appreciated.
•List any aspects of the images you wish to include or exclude. Example: add a wreath on the door but leave out that car port!
•List any text you wish to be included on your portrait. Example: our first home, the Smiths, etc.

S T E P 3 // Before I begin your illustration, I will verify with you all of the elements to be included or excluded, any text/spellings, and leaf wreaths or floral motifs below the text.

S T E P 4 // Within a few weeks of my receipt of your venue photos, I will sketch out a preliminary venue portrait in light pencil and will send it to you for verification that everything looks as you would like it and approve any spelling of text included.

S T E P 5 // Once you verify all of the details, I will complete your custom wedding venue illustration and ship it off!


// P L E A S E N O T E //

• After you verify the pencil sketch and once I begin adding color, I will be unable to make any changes. Any changes made by the purchaser thereafter will result in a fee of $50 for having to re-do the portrait.
• The orientation of the portrait (vertical or horizontal) is determined by the shape of your home.
• I generally omit large landscaping items so as to focus on the architecture of your venue, and only include small items that are close to the building. If there is a special tree you would like to be incorporated in to the portrait, I am happy to use its foliage as a wreath below the portrait or text, or we can talk about ways to include it!
• If you choose to add any text, please make sure that all spellings are correct. I will double check with you before I ink it on to the illustration, but I am not responsible for any misspellings that are a result of a mistake by the buyer.
• The production time DOES NOT include the time it takes to ship to you. Once it leaves my studio, I have no control of shipping times as estimated by USPS. If you have any special shipping requests, please contact me before purchasing.

• Your custom home portrait will arrive in sturdy packaging to prevent bending and damage to your custom artwork. It will arrive signed on the back, unmatted and unframed.
