CUSTOM PIECES
All custom pieces are made to order and are not able to be returned or exchanged. Please verify all dimensions, finishes and designs are to your specifications prior to placing an order.


VINTAGE PIECES
Please be advised that you are purchasing a vintage piece. We do our best to let you know in each listing of any flaws, chips, crack, etc. that may be inherent in your piece. We also indicate the type of construction whether it be solid wood or wood construction which includes any wood composites, veneers, fiberboards, MDF, etc. We provide you with pictures that detail the color and style as best as possible. Some pieces appear larger in pictures so please be sure that you have measured your space, hallways, doors, turns, etc. so that your piece will fit properly. As a rule we do not accept returns however if a piece is damaged we will discuss if the situation arises. In the event that a return is necessary, you are responsible for all packing materials and shipping charges back to House Candy L.A.

For large items under 100 lbs. i.e. nightstands, tables, etc, our preferred method of shipping is Greyhound Shipping Express. This is the most inexpensive way to ship compared to Fedex or UPS. We drop off at our Los Angeles Greyhound and it ships to your local Greyhound. Can't pick-up? Greyhound offers a courier service for an additional $ 50.00 fee on top of your shipping fee so you don't have to drive to the station. Please specify if you would like this additional service. All of these items are insured.

For Greyhound shipments we need the following:
The Greyhound station nearest to your home
Your first and last name
Your home address
Your phone number

Transit times for Greyhound range anywhere from 7 to 14 business days, depending on clearance of funds, communication between the buyer and seller, when buses are routed to your area as well as any unforeseen weather delays.

*We ship all Greyhound orders every Friday. The cut-off time for a ship out that week is Tuesday at 12 PST, otherwise your piece will ship out the following Friday*

Please be advised that if you purchase a larger item i.e. dresser, desk, etc, we will provide you with a shipping quote within 48 hours through a freight carrier. We will need the following information:
Your first and last name
Your shipping address (confirm residential or office)
Your phone number
Your e-mail address
Confirm if there are stairs and if so how many flights

Transit times for freight carriers range anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks depending
on clearance of funds, communication between the buyer and seller, truck availability to your area as well as any unforeseen weather delays.

Keep in mind that any item under or over 100 lbs. may run you anywhere between
$ 100 and $ 500 to ship whether it be Greyhound or White Glove delivery. In many
instances, the shipping is more than the price of the piece. Please be aware of this when purchasing.
