Beeswax food wraps are an environmentally friendly and chemical free alternative to plastic wrap. Made with a blend of natural ingredients, (beeswax, pine resin and jojoba oil), they are designed to adhere to themselves and to the surface of a bowl or Tupperware ect.. effectively imitating plastic wrap and looking fantastic while doing it too!

The pattern of your wrap will be randomly selected from the assortment of the eight patterns pictured. Please message me if you have a specific pattern choice in mind and I’ll see what I can do for you as it will depend on whether I have that specific size and pattern in stock still.

Sizes: Small: 21cm x 21cm (8" x 8")
Medium: 28cm x 28cm (11" x 11")
Large: 35cm x 35cm (13.5" x 13.5")

SMALL - perfect for covering cut fruit and the ends of vegetables, covering small bowls, and for wrapping snacks, (great for lunch boxes!)

MEDIUM - great for wrapping vegetables such as cauliflower and cabbage; for wrapping medium and small bowls; for making snack pouches, for leftovers and for wrapping the end of a block of cheese

LARGE - perfect for covering large bowls; for wrapping sandwiches; and for the largest
vegetables such as pumpkin, and celery.

(Please note: Due to each wrap being handmade, there may be slight variations in size, shape and colour.)
Colours disclaimer: Please note that actual colours may vary. This is due to the fact that every computer monitor has a different capability to display colours and that everyone sees these colours differently.

Reusable food wraps are a perfect addition to anyone's kitchen, and make a great gift for anyone trying to live a zero waste lifestyle, or for the health conscious individual.

To Use:

Easy to use, all you have to do is wrap your food in, or place your wrap around the top of a bowl and using the heat from your hands, mould the wrap in place. Your hands will cause the wrap to warm and soften slightly allowing it to adhere in place easier. And presto, pop it in the fridge, or in your lunch box and feel great knowing your food will keep fresh in style and completely chemical free!

Care Information:

Once used, wash the wraps in COLD soapy water with a soft sponge. Then allow to drip dry before folding and storing them in a dry place such as in a drawer, away from any heat sources that could potentially melt the wrap.

If cared for properly, the wraps can last for a year before needing to be re waxed (reuse reuse reuse) or due to being made with completely 100% natural ingredients, you can just pop them in your compost bin!

CAUTION

NOT suitable for use with raw meat or fish. Please do NOT use them to wrap raw meat or fish. Note, dairy is fine though.

Do NOT wash in hot water, this will likely cause the wax on the wrap to melt, rendering the food wrap unusable.
Do NOT store in a hot place due to potentially melting the wrap and then it won't be sticky anymore.

Are Beeswax wraps safe to store my food in?

Made with organic cotton fabric coated with a specially formulated blend of beeswax, pine resin and jojoba oil, the wraps are naturally antibacterial, anti-fungal, and unlike plastic wrap are Breathable! This means, that food wrapped in a beeswax wrap will keep fresh for longer as when wrapped in plastic, food sweats and spoils quicker resulting in more wasted food, and wasted money!
