fabric, stuffing, awesomeness

I think frogs are cool; both literally and in the sense of them being awesome.

I started doodling during a meeting at work, and somehow came up with a pattern for a stuffed frog. I tried it out, it came out fairly well, so I'm sharing it here.

This is a PDF pattern (and instructions) for making a roughly 3" (not counting the legs) chubby stuffed frog.

This pattern is sized for standard 8.5 x 11 copy paper. If you want to scale the pattern up to make a larger frog you're welcome to do so, but I haven't tested what that end result looks like.

The directions are written for someone with only a very basic sewing knowledge and little-to-no experience actually sewing. (if you're more experienced, you can probably skim over them)

You'll use a running stitch for most of the sewing, with a blind-stitch to close the gap at the end. Due to the small seam allowance, using a sewing machine is not recommended.

This pattern is intended for personal use only. Please do not give away or re-sell this pattern in any form without written permission from me.

I have been a fan of her work for some time, and love her whimsical Knithulhus. They show true craftsmanship and make excellent presents.

Hi. Bet you thought I wasn't going to leave feedback. My little dragon apparently went to Turkey enroute to Germany (courtesy of a post office error), but he's finally here and I LOVE HIM! Clever design and nice work. Thanks so much!

File delivery
Your files will be available to download once payment is confirmed. Here's how.

Returns & exchanges

If you feel the need to cancel an order, please do so as soon as possible. I don't normally issue refunds on items that have been shipped, so please shop carefully!

In the unlikely event that something you ordered is damaged during shipping, send me an email explaining the issue, send it back to me, and I'll replace it with another one. (You will have to ship it back at your own expense)

Due to the eclectic nature of my yarn supply, a replacement may not be exactly the same color as the original, but I will try to match it as closely as possible.

If I can't replace it or fix it, I'll refund you.

If you want large quantities, send me an email first so we can discuss it and see if it's possible.

Trash owls are available on a limited basis, and cannot be custom ordered.
