A handmade screen print of a skeleton, starting intently at a smartphone. I made this to remind myself to put my own phone down, and to poke a little fun at the classic 'memento mori' format.

This print comes on three colors of paper:
- Black paper
- Midnight blue paper
- India ink wash on watercolor paper

Each print is on 8x"10 paper, so it will fit nicely in a standard 11x17" frame with an 8x10" mat. The image is 7"x7", so you could also fit this into a square frame with an 8"x8" opening.

I pulled each of these prints by hand at my local print shop. They're based on an original gouache painting, which I translated into a larger drawing, and then edited digitally. For the ink washed papers, I painted india ink on white watercolor paper, giving each sheet a unique, swirly effect. Each print is signed with my name and the year, in pencil, on the bottom.

Each one of these prints is a little bit unique, due to the little variations in typing and printing. The colors look crisp and bright, and the paper is a satisfying weight. It'll make a great addition to your home, office, or anywhere else you can use a grinning skeleton.
