Vintage Hand Hammered Copper Pitcher and Mug Set

What a fantastic hand hammered Copper pitcher and mug set. The pitcher stands about 6 1/2' tall, the bottom diameter is about 5 1/4" in diameter and the top is about 4 1/4' in diameter. The pinned handle, which is strong and sturdy with absolutely zero wiggles or wobbles, is slightly taller than the top opening, it is about 6 3/4" tall. A light patina has begun developed on the pitcher. It is stamped on the bottom "SOLID COPPER” and has a small hard to read symbol, looks like maybe it says YB or possibly XB or even WB, it is small and very difficult to read.

The two matching mugs stand 3 3/4" tall, with the handle being just over 4" tall, the bottom is about 3 1/4" diameter and the top opening is about 2 7/8" in diameter. The mugs have a dimpled, hammered appearance that matches the pitcher. The mug handles also are strong and sturdy without any wiggles or wobbles. Both mugs are stamped "Solid Copper" on the bottom and also have the same symbol as the pitcher has, it is a bit easier to read, looks like it is "WB".

From the research I have done, the closest match of the symbol I have been able to find is this :

WB - West Bend Co., Wisconsin started making products in aluminum in 1911 but introduced products made of copper in 1933 to help them survive the depression.

This is a truly wonderful Copper pitcher and mug set that would be an amazing addition to any collection. It is a strong, solid Copper set that is in the market for a new home. Thanks for looking 😊.
