This beautifully simple 'Court' profile shape wedding ring is available in 2mm and 3mm widths and is brought to you from our studio in South Yorkshire England.

All our rings are Hallmarked in the United Kingdom.

Each band is made exclusively for each client, guaranteeing that no one has ever worn or tried on your wedding band.

We specialise in the ancient skill of hand engraving by traditional methods and offer FREE inside engraving (of up to 20 characters) for those personal messages.

Our production time for this ring is 2 weeks.

All our rings are presented in our own branded 'Lockley & Ashmore' boxes and are dispatched in the UK by Royal Mail Special Delivery and Outside the UK by Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed service.

At Lockley & Ashmore we believe that presentation of our jewellery is as important as the item itself. This is why all of our products come beautifully gift wrapped as standard.



UK DELIVERIES:
We use Royal Mail Special Delivery service to post all our items, this service is fully trackable and is signed for, once dispatched, delivery takes 1 working day, before 1pm, however a couple of days delay may occur.


INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES:
Please be advised that International deliveries under normal circumstances take 7 to 13 working days but in some instances can take up to 20 working days (weekends not included) to arrive, please be patient and understanding, the parcel can be tracked, however, if you are having difficulty in tracking your parcel please contact us for assistance.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

I DO NOT KNOW MY RING SIZE, HOW DO I MEASURE MY RING FINGER?
If you are UK based, we can send you our ring multisizer to measure your ring finger, to request this, you would need to message us your full name and postal address through Etsy.
Alternatively you could visit your local jewellery shop and ask them to measure your ring finger, you could also ask to try on different profile rings (D shape, Court shape, Flat shape or Easy fit also known as Comfort fit or a Flat Court).

WHAT IS A D SHAPE PROFILE RING?
This classic shape features a domed profile with a flat inside. The ring sits nice and close to your finger.

WHAT IS A COURT PROFILE RING?
This shape features an external domed wall with a slightly smaller curved inner wall, which creates a soft and easy to wear court style band ring. The edges of the ring are slightly "raised" with the middle of the ring sitting close to your finger.

WAHT IS A FLAT PROFILE RING?
This shape is a classic and eve-popular contemporary wedding band that is flat on both the inside and the outside of the ring. The ring sits close to your finger.

WHAT IS AN EASY FIT PROFILE RING?
This shape offers a flat outer and domed inside to offer a comfortable fit. The edges of the ring are slightly "raised" with the middle of the ring sitting close to your finger.

Please message us through Etsy and let us know which design, metal, width, size and ring profile you require and we'll provide you with a quote.

HOW DO I PAY FOR THE CUSTOM QUOTE:
Once you are happy with the quote we'll create a custom receipt which will enable you to purchase the ring through Etsy.

Yes, you can pay for your purchase in 3 instalments using Klarna option at the check out.

PERSONALISATION?
Please note ALL personalisation will be hand engraved exactly as sent to us by you, please double check all of your texts before submitting your order.

DO YOU PLATE YOUR RINGS?
All of our jewellery come in their natural colour and ARE NOT rhodium or gold plated, therefore you might find that your new jewellery bought from us differs in colour from previously owned.

HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY JEWELLERY?
Please take care when coming into contact with household chemicals, chlorinated water, lotions/cosmetics, perfumes or hand sanitisers.

HOW DO I KEEP MY JEWELLERY CLEAN?
To keep clean, wash in warm soapy water and dry with a soft cloth.

WHY MY SILVER RING HAS MADE MY FINGER GO BLACK/GREEN?
Our Sterling Silver rings are made of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper. When silver oxidizes as a result of exposure to acids in your skin, or when it come into contact with hand lotions, sanitisers, perfumes, chloride water or other chemicals, tarnish develops and your finger may become stained with black or green tarnish. Tarnished fingers are completely safe and is not harmful in anyway to you.

HOW DO I PREVENT MY SILVER RING FROM TARNISHING?
It is advisable to take the ring off when using hand sanitisers, lotions, swimming pools or any other chemicals that might affect your ring or other piece of jewellery.
To prevent future tarnishing the ring can be rhodium plated at an extra cost from us.

THE ENGRAVING DETAIL ON MY 2mm RING IN THE PICTURE WAS MUCH CLEARER THAN IN REAL LIFE?
We have to take close up pictures to show the detail of the design. The designs on the 2mm rings are meant to look small and delicate designs, that's what it makes it so intricate and special. You might want to consider a wider band and you are struggling to see the detail on the 2mm ring.

MY RING DOES NOT LOOK AS SHINY AS IN THE PICTURE?
The rings are photographed in a special light box to provide clarity and plenty of light. All of our rings and finished and polished to the highest of standards, if you are struggling to see the "sparkle" of the ring, take it outside and look at it in the full sun or a really well lit room, we are sure it will sparkle back at you!

WHY DOES IT TAKE SO LONG TO GET MY RING ORDER?
All of our rings are made to order especially for you. We not hold stock and purchase metal when you place your order.

WHERE IS YOUR METAL SOURCED FROM?
We buy all of our metal from UK well trusted based manufacturers.

HOW DO YOU MAKE YOUR RINGS?
We purchase "raw" blanks which means the rings come to us in it's unfinished form to us from our metal supplier. We than size them to customers requirement, clean them up (using 8 different grade of polish), prep and polish ready for the engraving.

HOW DO YOU ENGRAVE YOUR RINGS?
We use traditional hand engraving tools to engrave all of our jewellery, no power tools are ever used to hand engrave your item! The only time we do use power is when boiling a kettle for a cuppa :)

WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR INSPIRATION FRO DESIGNS?
Matt has been in the jewellery trade for over 30 years and has specialised in hand engraving from the start of his carrier. Most of the design are drawn from the late Victorian/Edwardian era, some of them inspired by the designs observed on the English grave stones and nature.

I NEED MY RING SOONER THAN THE EXPECTED DATE?
If you need your ring sooner than quoted, please let us know your wedding date and we'll work with you to make sure the ring reaches you in time for your wedding.

CAN YOU EXPEDITE MY DELIVERY?
For UK deliveries we use Royal Mail Special Delivery service which is tracked, singed and fully insured, the delivery takes 1 to 2 days from the dispatch, we cannot do it any faster.

For International Deliveries we use Royal Mail International service, which is Tracked and insured. Delivery can take from 7 to 20 working days, we do not use any other curriers as they are far too expensive and have not proved to be any faster.
