Item details

Vintage from the 19th century

metal, copper, wood

This tiny little copper pot looks like it might have been designed for serving hot chocolate - or at least I like to imagine it was! Tiny little legs support the squat pitcher, while a little wood side handle (that was once painted black) allows you to pour from the elegant spout. The diminutive lid sports a cute little mushroom shaped knob handle, which also still has traces of black paint. The shape of the leg and handle rivets are most unique, and add an extra special touch to the piece. What an adorable way to add a European accent to your kitchen!

The pot measures 4” diameter by 6 1/2” tall: total width including the handle is 8 3/4”; width at the spout is 5 1/2". Perfectly charming, well used vintage condition; the handles are a little wiggly, and the cover is a bit difficult to remove. No brand marks or stamps that I could find.
