This is a very mod 60s - 70s era clock and AM/FM radio with high intensity lamp, made by the Longines company, It was made in Japan.

Label: Longines Symphonette
model number: LCR 511
serial number: 5110711654
Clock movement: made in USA
Power source: AC 120 V 60 HZ 25 watts

Measurements: 9.5 inches long x 7.0 inches deep x 2 in tall base

This little darling is made of black with woodgrain colored plastic base, with chrome colored trim on the tuner face and around the clock dial casing.

The 3-way lamp has a telescoping directional stalk, which is made of chrome clolored metal. The watts from high to low: 25, 18 and 13. Lamp works just fine, however the bulb used for testing is not the correct one. Shade oval 3-inch wide, raises 9-inch to 15 inch tall.

The radio has a toggle switch for AM/FM control, and 3 round knobs to select station, volume and lamp intensity control. The radio has been tested and work well. The sound on the radio does not go a high as I believe that it should. It is very audible and usable for desktop or bedside.

The radio base has an earphone jack and an exterior speaker jack on the backside. The original electronic schematic paper label is still attched underneath and is undamaged.

The clock has a mod 5-inch wide oval shape, with two chrome knobs for off/on alarm switch and for setting the 1-hour timer. The clock face is sheer lucite and the clock can turn on its base. There is a metal control in back for setting the correct time.
The clock keeps good time. However I did not test the alarm setting.

This item is in very good condition, and for the most part works very well as noted above. The only flaws that I can see: there are 4 out of the 17 vent holes in back are broken (see photo), and there is dust (no scratches) on the clock face on the inside.
