An original wire photograph from the archives of a newspaper showing women practicing with revolvers. The women are fully identified and their names can be read on the back were they are referred to as "Police Women".
The photo is extremely sharp focused [the gun barrels almost pop out]. The background is of rather strange origin as certain elements seem hand painted while the rest appears natural. Some bizarre milky gloom is also apparent in the print.
A beautiful photo all in all, nicely composed and masterfully executed.

The photo is back stamped Nov 18, 1956 and measures approximately 25.5 x 20 cm
Overall condition is great, upper let hand corner is a little bendy, The position marks from the newspaper can be removed with a wet wipe or magic eraser
